Always enjoying sports as a child, I started my journey back into fitness after the birth of my 2nd child. Attending cardio kick classes 3x a week, I soon fell in love with the benefits of working out again - not only the physical but the mental (STRESS RELIEF) and was hooked!!!

With the guidance, encouragement and training from some fabulous instructors, I became certified to instruct cardio kick while at Progressive Martial Arts.

I have now enjoyed instructing for 11 years with various groups:

- Progressive Martial Arts
- Con College Outdoor Rec
- Lakehead Public School Phyiscal education classes
- Team building and Healthy lifestyle workshops for the workplace
- Volunteer work with Youth at Risk groups.

I have now expanded my range of classes from Cardio Kick to weight training (Tone & Tighten), Boot Camp (Kitchen Sink) and Gymstick (core conditioning and body toning with resistance) and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the new faces in class :)

Outside the gym I enjoy kickboxing (no longer competitively), running, hiking, cooking and doing absolutely anything with my two amazing children who are the complete lights of my life and show me every day the joy in life!
